that feeling you’re gone for a while then you feel like you’ve missed a lot
The difference between pansexuality and bisexuality is this:
Do the people you love fall on the points of woman and man?
Do the people you love fall in the spectrum of woman and man?
One of my biggest peeves about gender identity is that it’s viewed in a manner that is way too distinctive. Gender is a mental identity, it is different from your physical sex. Just like trying to define all women, or all white people, or all artists, when you try to mentally define a group of people it just doesn’t work. You can’t say that all women like sweets. You can’t say that all white people like coffee. You can’t say that all artists like sketching. And you can’t say that all men like women, or vice versa, or any variation of. The mind is too dynamic to define and gender is part of this dynamic, whether you or the people you love identify as a man, woman, neither, both, or other.
Bisexuality includes the man and woman forms of this.
Pansexuality includes all forms. That is literally what pansexual means. I don’t see why that is a hard thing for some people to grasp.
Worded in a different way, I consider myself pansexual; to me what that really means is that I am just waiting for someone to come along who I am compatible with, it doesn’t matter to me how they identify on the gender spectrum.
